The League Is Back Again For 2009 Season

Yes, the rumours and the hype is true. UTP Soccer League is back for 2009 season.

After witnessing Azzuri defended their title successfully for the second consecutive time, things are heated again for 2009 season. While Onitsuka Tigers marched their way to the final in their debut season, they will surely wants some payback on Azzuri.

Rohirrim, FC Royale, Freestyle and Picisan bade their farewell to UTP League after a meaningful stint with the league. However, with empty slots are left for stake, can the new teams live up to the Tigers' reputation?

Friendly matches are being held around these weeks with Onitsuka Tigers made some early preparations to kick off the league in style. Not forgetting, 2007 semi-finalist, Urawa Reds Diamonds having a massive friendly matches to gain their form and send a warning to Azzuri as well.

Another question mark is who will handle UTP League for next season? With the transition period from TPK to Sekretariat Rakan Muda already completed, can Sekretariat Rakan Muda do it better than previous seasons?
